Read About JR

“The connection you make with a horse is so powerful.
It is like another higher level of love.”

My blogging hobby began back in 2008, when my college son recommended blogging to me as a means of communicating my ideas.

Initially, my blogs were set up as simple web pages that showcased some of my articles, and artistic work such as photography and videos. Most of these blogs were done using  Google “Blogger”, which I did not find user friendly and therefore lost interest in my hobby.

Then in 2010, after exploring WordPress, and reading all the beautifully written and eye catching blogs on WordPress, I became more entrenched in other people’s work. Admiring all this beautiful work by unknown writers, inspired me to venture out into writing more material in my blogs including my passion for photography.

The Chronicles of a Blogaholic actually began as, The 2015 Chronicles. I started the blog on January 1, 2015 to deal with my every day stress, document events in my life, highlight my musings, and share my photos and poetry.

I want to be a ray of light to someone. I want to bring a little sunshine and happiness each day. Big task for a little blog. But, with creative juices flowing each and every day, I’m offering my daily reflections.

Follow along.

  4. Hi JR,
I just wanted to thank you for all the time you spent reading my posts and commenting on them. I really have no words to express my gratitude especially when my blog is about science therefore doesn’t always appeal to everyone. Thank you very much! You’ve turned out to be one of the most active commenters on my blog. I’m really grateful for all your contribution.
    Happy Reading,
    Manpreet 💜

    • Manpreet, thank you for kind comments. You are welcome. Keep posting so I can keep reading and commenting. I have a few science fans. You might want to check out who they are, and give their blog a look-see and maybe follow them, so they will follow you. Best Wishes for the New Year.

  5. JR, I did not find any contact page. I wanted to ask you if you are interested in a little WP meeting with Marrissa Bergen, Carolina Russo, Keffin Hotter, and Corinne (don’t know the last name), and of course me! We meet Nov. 6 at 3 pm at Starbucks, 13535 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks 91423. Let me know 🙂
